I have been an avid knitter and crocheter for over a decade now. A few years ago I shifted from using acrylic yarn to only using natural fibers. Shortly after that I started dying the yarn myself. While this is the most sustainable way to make wearable goods, it is also very expensive. So I started selling some goods at local craft fairs to make back some of the money that I spend on yarn.
